They are only lacking the signature and that is it.

i wanted it to happen in denmark too.... i liked the last fight in denmark(andrade) and would like to have seen another one there.. and i would have liked to see joe fight outside of england for his rep.....

Also, if it comes through and it's in the UK, the word is it will be in SEPTEMBER - not november as Palle had wanted if the fight was to be in Denmark.
All in all great news - even if things can still go wrong.

I've been REALLY pesimistic for a long time about this fight ever materializing. But way things are going right now it's very hard to remain pessimistic.

"Negotiations have very much progressed, you'll have to say. Our financial demands have pretty much been met and only very few things are left," the promotor says to B.T.
"We have sent a draft to FW and we're now negotiating point by point. The details that are left, can't turn anything around," Palle continues.
The remaining details are among other things the geographics as both Denmark and Great Britain are in play. Mogens Palle doesn't seem to think the fight will be on home turf.

Palle would onyl have the danish tv rights in denmark. He woud have to pay calzaghe $5m+ Kessler roughyl $4m + coz he said before when warren offerd him $3 that it wasnt enough. and that would just be on those two...

Palle doesn't have that sort of money to envest in a fight with such risk

Why can't you come to the UK, might as well splash out, it'll be your man Kessler's biggest fight. I was considering going to Denmark if the fight took place there.
