Witter's style is wank.....he barely beat Kotelnik and Colin Lynes with it. He confuses himself with his switch hitting, runs out of ideas and then coats through the last 3 rounds cos he's knackered.

I think Hatton would find it difficult early on cause of Witters unorthodox style but as the fight wears on he would cut the ring down and give Witters head & body a good beasting and would get the KO by round 6 imop. The only reason I would like to see the fight is so Witter would finally shut his trap up calling Hatton out but I think there are far better names out there for Ricky now like Cotto, Mosely, Mayweather,ODLH etc and they all are far better fighters than Witter!!

Witter should have fought more often since he won the title. One fairly boring fight against a B list opponent in nine months is not the way to go.

He should have fought every couple of months (against Mora type guys) or a couple of bigger names to keep his profile high.

I was up for a fight between them in the past but Hattons in another place now.

Only a win against Harris or unification against M'baye could up Witters ante.

i have seen all of witters fights since judah, and right now im pretty sure that he would not only beat hatton but beat him up bad. people get ko'd by witter when they get a lil reckless. hatton certainly would not be able to just come at witter and then try wrestle and punch him. hatton has many flaws and gives many opportunities that someone with like witter will take advantage of. witter is slick, has speed and throws punches at very awkward angles with power that hatton will not be able to handle.
his punch and grab tactics will not work, im confident that witter would time hatton coming in as he is a very good counter puncher.

guess again..is it that i dont like ricky, or you either don't like witter or love hatton..i'm the same one who started the post about hatton becoming a living legend is stays at 140 and wipes out everyone and puts his record to around 70-0...and other than KT and shot castillo who has hatton beat? not to mention the judah the fought witter was much better than any version of judah post the kayo by KT....
