The official who should Hatton fight next thread

Who do you most want to see?

I'll go Malignaggi. Should be a real close and competitve fight between the two best 140lbers

I've not got any interest in seeing Ricky move up and fight one of the main guys becuase he'd get killed and why spoil the little run he's on?

Juan Diaz would be nice to see too.

as for going up a weight i see it happening just not the next fight and to say he'd get killed is a bit harsh

I voted for Hatton - PBF. I think PBF would win, perhaps easily, but its the fight I want to see. Hatton has suggested it should be at a catchweight between 140 and 147, which would definately make it more interesting than a fight at 147. I just think its a compelling match-up with an interesting clash of styles.

Juan Diaz, because it's a logical fight between 2 tough undefeated fighters and it would be a good fight which Ricky would have the upperhand in.

It's hard to really choose because every fight where a fighter moves up or is at 140 already Ricky would beat the shit out of and every fight at 147 Ricky is a HUGE underdog.....I don't know about you but I want to see some guys fight on the same level

I don't know man Juan Diaz is pretty tough, he just bullied Freitas into another retirement. That would be a relentless all action war. Probably the most action packed fight out there for the Hitman

Also Gatti, if Gatti gets past Gomez...at 147 it would be a GREAT GREAT fight anywhere in the world...you could have that fight on the fucking Moon and people would travel to see it!

I went with Cotto. In terms of physical demands it is the most difficult task available, but not impossible. You dont have to be superhuman to last the course with Cotto, it just depends what you can offer back, Hatton will always offer plenty. Despite the one punch finish of Castillo I dont think Ricky can hurt Cotto enough with one hit to end the fight, but he could give him an arguement on the cards.

Surprised to see Malignaggi heading the poll. In terms of earning a shot at Hatton I suppose Witter should be ahead of Malignaggi, but to be honest I'd prefer he give them both a miss.

Have to go with mayweather... I gained a lil more respect for hatton as a fighter in the castillo fight, but i still have some serious questions about him.

He wants to be remebered as one of the best brits of all time then he needs to step up and fight mayweather, he has been shouting his mouth off about mayweather for a long long time, something he critised witter for. He turned down a shot at mayweather some time ago i believe to, and that wasn't the only big name he/his camp turned down.

Hatton has a good record, but i said BEFORE the fight i believed castillo was shot, and the guy who turned up to the fight did nothing to make me chage my mind either. Hatton has one P4P fighter on his resume (tszyu) he has had 4 world title fights since, none a p4p fighter, fair enough if there wern't many/any for him to fight but there are in Cotto and Mayweather.

Now it seems camp PBF want the fight, its time to see ricky come through. It will give us a good judging of him as a fighter and a person.

Paulie is a decent fight, but not one i would choose first with the otheroptions. Mayweather, Mosely De la hoya Cotto - Personally i think with their styles and cotto's size he would be way to much for hatton, could be interesting though.

Malignaggi vs. Hatton is a realy interesting prospect. A real pick 'em fight. That would be a great fight so i chose that.
