The second half, I think Oscar just got tired,
as always, that old man. heheh. He just got tired of throwing jabs. He always gets tired, even when he was in his prime. I'm a fan of Oscars... well was, but even I have to admit, the man's stamina is not in question, it's without a doubt horrible for a professional. Oscar stopped the jab and everything, then Mayweather started landing. Thats what I think though.
Sorry about that man.Originally Posted by 'The Boxer'

Hatton had no answers for a boxer who backpedaled when he wanted to, I mean no answers whatsoever.
Yes Kostya and Castillo wins were very impressive, but at the same time when is Hatton going to look good against a youngster.
Last I saw he looked good against a "youngan" who was good, it was Michael Stewart, back in 2004. IMO. But let me just finish with, Hatton's no bum, he wins, but he has been managed very well... meaning, he hasn't fought many slickers provided there are not many though. I think Hatton can fight and possibly beat Cotto in fight of the year . (modified the red words)
Cotto won't brawl or box PBF, he'll be the same Cotto he's always been. He's as consistent as it gets. He's keeps up a pace, and systematically breaks the other guy down. He is chinny, but against Floyd who's naturally smaller and not known for his punch... Cotto won't get KO'd. Judah hit Cotto with is best shots and still couldn't finish. Cotto will connect, follow, and cut-off the ring,... it would make for a good fight because it would be a tough night for Floyd eventually.Originally Posted by 'The Boxer'

If he just beat Cintron, that wouldn't be impressive. What's impressive is that out of all the welterweights, he's beaten more, and really hasn't lost at this weight in around a decade ?Originally Posted by 'The Boxer'
I don't know, it's pretty long. And during that time, he hasn't been taking on light competition, he has some unknown names that were real fights. He had to do it the hard way, fighting tough but unknown competition. Then after all that people still don't respect him much. Hopefully the results of Williams, or a Cotto fight... win or lose... will make fans realize this guy's dangerous presence. He's style is not pretty, it's not a beauty contest in there, it's the fight business and in this business, guys with will and determination always are a danger to any boxer, flashy, rich, smart, whoever it be.
Honestly, Thanks man, for answering. I think your the first to get what this thread is all about.
Answer back if you want to.
