floyd was already a proven fighter and sharmba was just another fighter to floyd...to williams sharmba is his only weight to him being a serious contender...if he loses to tony we won't hear of him again..but then that depends on how he loses...Actually its weird because this is tony's most public fight...if either loses in a bad fashion it will be hard to sell either one of them....if they fight a war like barrera-morrales then they're elevated....

Floyd was a proven fighter at 135 lbs and managed to outpunch/out-slick Chop Chop and Gatti at 140 lbs. He definitely needed the Mitchell fight to see how he would perform 7 pounds north of the Light Welter border and he did not overwhelm Sharmba, just caught him with a sharp right lead to the body after his usual defensive mode fighting style for 6 boring rounds - so he didn't prove himself there, neither did he in the Baldomir fight, maybe in the Judah and Hoya but that is far too little for what he and his flock claim... Paul pounded Sharmba for four rounds and from any conceivable angle, scoring 3 knockdowns doing so, and that was after he took care of Walter Dario Matthysse who is about to challenge Kermit Cintron for the IBF title July 14, oh, that same Cintron who was demolished by Tony ( talkin about so called "public" fights, wtf do u mean with public?)... Now Floyd sneaks right leads, pity-pat punches, runs around the ring, rolls those shoulders on the ropes and corners for 12 rounds and the pair Tony/Paul need to have a blood bath classic a la Barrera Morales to sell themselves? Get outa here! Maryweather should be laughin straight to the bank with Curtis ( Ha ha ha ha) GGGGGG-Unot...
