I agree that RJJ is not the best fight for Tito. For me, there's too much weight difference. As someone said, Jones will probably not come down to 160. And Tito has never ventured above that weight.

If Tito's serious about the comeback, there's lots of other intriguing matchups that could be made. Personally, and even though they're both past their prime, I still think the public would eat up a match between Tito and De La Hoya (myself included). There's also Jermaine Taylor.

Hell, even a rematch against Bernard wouldn't be out of the question, assuming BHop sticks around that long. He's probably close to retiring by this time.

But the bottom line is Tito's mentality in coming back. IMO, he's got absolutely nothing to prove, or add to his already legendary status. (Was watching some old Tito fights the other day and got kinda nostalgic for the good ol' days). But if he's serious about coming back, all the more power to him. Boxing misses him as much as he misses boxing.
