Well one thing you have to remember is that in boxing just like all sports you have bandwagon fans. The ones who only like a guy when he wins.
I know people like that with all sport. Like in football. The are the fan of a team that wins the Super Bowl until next year when a new team wins. Same for the world series.

No different in boxing. Soon as a guy loses he was a bum. He was over rated. He was exposed. He should have quit long ago. And it continues.

Look at it like this. The guy who beat the the established boxer or top prospect gets it even worse.
Unless he is already a top fighter.

The guy who beats the opponent or prospect either beat an old man or they beat an over rated fighter.
Besides with the money we pay to watch the sport we have the right to be harsh on the fighters

If im a fan of a fighter i stick with him win lose or draw im a fan of the fighter and what he does not the record. For e.g im a fan of Audley Harrison have been since olympics and and no matter how many times he loses i will stick by him as a fan he had a good start then went flat then did a job on Williams then got KO'd by Sprott but im still a fan same as i stuck with Tyson,Naz,Eubank,Benn,Witter,Barrera and many many more.

Look at other sports. When a hockey, basketball, nfl football, soccer (football) team(s)etc etc, win about 65% of their games, they are considered great. If a boxer only won 65% of his fights, he is considered crap. There is something wrong with this picture.
