I was to young to remember that fight when it happened. When I see documentary's on the fight though I feel bad for Gerry Cooney. He was put into a position he did not want to be in. He was only there to fight he had no intention of representing white America. Gerry Cooney is not that type of guy.
A hard position to be in because he was in a losing situation all the way around
