I don't understand how not fighting makes some one stronger

Well the guy thought he was fighting for the World Championship and it was taken from his grasp at the eleveth hour, wouldnt you be just a little pissed? I would which in turn would make me more determind that when i get my chance next time i will give it my all. I dont understand whats so hard to understand about that?

Yes thats the word he should have used- DETERMIND- and not stronger/
