Yes you are correct I don't really rate him. As such I personally don't care whether he wins or loses. He's entertaining to watch but hardly a practitioner of the sweet science and I'll take a skilled boxer over an unskilled brawler any day.

Sorry if I've been harping on but as the seeming lone dissenter I'm keeping the thread going if nothing else.

And besides if he goes on to kick Juan Diaz's a** you'll all be glad you've got someone on here that you can do a big to and tell me how you told me he was the best.

Without the voice of dispute all forum threads would be pointless so don't express your disaproval for me having a different point of view to yourself
Its not a problem and i'd never give you the finger for saying one guy will win over another - it's just opinion and besides i dont know much about Katsidis anyway. I think he sounds like a good prospect from what i've heard and wouldn't say he's the best if he wins this next fight and even beats Diaz. I hope he wins of course b/c i'm from Oz so it would be nice for us here. I wouldn't know if he's a brawler or a boxer or both. I look forward to finding out though. CC from me though b/c i like it when someone posts anm informed opinion which seemingly is against the hype that can be present at times. So there was no disaproval of your opinion.
Well I'm glad we can agree to disagree. I guess it's unoriginality that turns me off him. Coming in to a Russell Crowe voiceover and the theme from Gladiator just makes me want to

Against Earl he was just so wide open and any decent solid boxer with ringcraft would have slaughtered him that night.

But he is a talking point. It will be interesting to see how he does when he steps up. Few of us expected Edwin Valero to do a number on Mosquera beforehand figuring his reckless style, inexperience and never having gone beyond the second round would prove his undoing but he aced the test and has knocked out both his subsequent opponents also.

Looks like Valero is the real deal. Katsidis may yet prove to be of the same mould but I really have my doubts.

Still he's an exciting prospect and a talking point nonetheless.
