as of yet hattons has beaten one p4per, tszyu.. castillo was on noones p4p list coming into that fight!

Isreal vasquez may not of been top 10 p4p but he was damn close to it imo... dont forget as well, rafa has been the undisputed champ at 2 weights, winning at the second weight convincingly - whislt hatton beat tszyu (great!) beat mausa then moved up a weight to win by the skin of his teath only to vacate and move back down to fight another chump...

Rafa is giving Isreal another crack at his old belt, whislt he may of stopped him once thats not telling that he will again, it was close on all ards at the time vaquez coldn't go on and rafa had been put on his a**... a broken nose can real scew up any fight - (see barrera jurez I then watch II)
i said current or past p4pers... he has fought just as hard competition if he fights and beats Mayweather... that will make 3 present or past p4pers that hatton has fought ...to zero p4pers for R. Marquez, and like i said fighter of the year twice if hatton wins this fight... R. Marquez zero Fighter of the years...

i like R. Marquez and think he might be justifiably #1 p4p even if hatton wins... but i think its close....
In all fairness fighting a shot former pound for pound guy as in Castillo doesnt count for much. Would Kessler go up the P4P rankings if he beat Roy Jones now? No. Would JMM go further up the rankings if he beat Morales now? No. So should Hatton go further up the P4P rankings for beating Castillo? No.
castillo was rated #1 by the wbc and #1 by ring going into the fight...

the qeustion was hatton be #1 if he beat mayweather.. and beating #1 p4p king and #1 contender in your divison means another fighter of the year.... which R. marquez doesnt have 1...

this whole thread is based on IF HATTON BEATS MAYWEATHER... not on current standings..
