Sorry JonesJrMayweather, now JT Rock is absolutely right and I find amusing how he and Punisher agree on this one, with your statement I can't agree with... Since you seem to be a wise, senseful and pretty neutral fan, man, let me ask ya... How come Vitaly sticks that left lead and leans his head back as he does so? Then combines the jab with a fast right but discharges the power and leaves the right hand there ( even vs Kirk Johnson) The guy is so damn tentative and cautious that if he didn't have power he wouldn't be better than Henry Akinwande... The real Champ that quitter ( vs Byrd, never fought Rahman), get outa here!!!
He's coming back and would you wanna take byrd's or rahman's chances of beating Vitali here on out for the rest of their career? I didn't think so. The byrd thing was THE luckiest break in boxing history and rahman isn't good enough to be "ducked" (his claim to fame is a ko against an out of shape lennox lewis who took him, lightly, ir efer you to the rematch). Why is Vitali a better champ despite his less refined skills you ask? Because Vitali was never dropped 4 times in 2 rounds to look like a helpless infant fighting a bear. He was holding his own against lennox (something wlad could never do) and thats his only legit loss. Yeah he quit against byrd and because of it byrd has been hyped up to something much better than he actually is but i'll take vitali over any boxer in this division right now given the fact that he is healthy.

Brewster hadn't fought in a year, hadn't won in two years. Brock, Byrd and the rest where carefully chosen because they where light punching opponents. Even in the weak division, Wlad can find more guys to avoid than to fight.
Undefeated Sam Peter, Undefeated Calvin Brock, Chris Byrd the longest reigning champion of that time.

Who the hell is out there that you want to see him beat? No matter who it is he'll beat them easy and you'll still be complaining.
Peter beat no one of relevance at the time, Brock is a fringe contender at best and will remain so for the rest of his career, and chris byrd's "longest" reign consisted of 5 defences in 4 years against nobodies.
