Adu really wasn't that great in Washington though, from what I saw. Then again he is still so young.

Altidore is interesting cause the U.S. has never had that great world class striker. I guess McBride has done pretty well in England, and we've had some pretty good ones but Altidore looks like he has a ton of potential.

Future does look good though, best players are young, Donovan when he doesn't flake out and disapear, Dempsey, not too many old guys that are really important to the team.

    Quality side!
They are a joy to watch and they have awesome team unity... oh and they also have the great Giovanni Dos Santos too.
That kid is insanely talented, one of the top prospects in world football for me along with Bojan Krkic.
    Gio scored yesterday I believe?
Ouma other players to look out for on the Mexico side are Carlos Vela - forward/striker (U-20), Andres Guardado - Left Winger (Mexican Nt'l. Team) and Guillermo Ochoa - Goal Keeper (Mexican Nat'l. Team).

Remember these names or when you have the time look them up but do it quick cause when you least expect it they'll be allover the footy news....

Aud didn't do well with that coach and as you said Adu is sooo young....he obviously has skill. When Pele says "that left foot is magic" he's not blowing smoke.

Altidore is good but we also have a big young striker named Kenny Cooper Jr. he's 6'3 and he plays for Dallas FC

Couple those young guys with Beasley, Donovan, Dempsey, Johnson and Tim Howard and we have a good squad.

Youngsters we have that are on the National team that are good are: Justin Mapp (fast forward can't put it away yet but can draw many fouls and pass well), Benny Feilhaber, Michael Bradley, and Jonathan Proctor

    Nice.

Altidore's the guy to watch IMO.

Hey, calm down now... let us not forget that the Chinese invented the game. Don't let no Englishman tell you what to call it, unless their surname is Chan or Ling or Tao.

Fwocken love the play Adu did on those 2 Brazilian defenders, great stuff. It's at 1:57 of the video.

....Adu is #11, Altidore is #12.....Adu didn't score any goals vs Brazil but he had 3 vs Poland.

US is now 2-1 in 3 games played...I am impressed with them and I hope they keep it up

I think he was talking about how Adu set up the goal by getting into the box and getting a shot off, and the deflection. Altidore mainly just cleaned up.

The only thing with Adu is where would he play on the main team, seems to kind of play Donovan's role on the U-20. Guess he could play wing, attacking midfielder, something like that.

I think perhaps the US should look at running a 3-4-3 that would create space for Adu AND Donovan
