He bashed the F*** out of everyone for nine years, six as world champ, whilst his brilliant career lasted.
Why didn't he carry on? Probably being 27 years old and having £40m quid had something to do with it.
Or realising that he wasn't the greatest fighter in the world as he had proclaimed, and deep down, as he believed. I reckon that he just couldn't get over the fact that he wasnt the greatest ever, as all the hype around him had built up.
I think that was part of it too. I truely believe in the end he believed - like all religious Bible bashing nuts - Allah was getting him through the tough fights and wouldn't allow him to lose.
