you have to remember in the contender they only fought 5 rounds, how often can things change over 12 rounds, they cant keep going hammer and tong like they did for 5 rounds over 12 rounds.

the boxer with the most potential in the contender was the babyface dude followed by that gomez guy.

Oh wait... when he was undefeated I knew he was a cowardly peice of shite... a loss is not the be all end all of boxing... its a complicated game.
Come on Adam mate from what you saw of Ishe Smith, you really think he could make it, id love to see Hatton tear him apart!!
I thought Ishe was the best by a long way. He got robbed in the Mora fight. 2 judges went for Ishe the other had it 5-0 to Sergio so he got the decision. Even Tommy Gallagher said afterwards that Sergio couldn't have come out for another round.

Ishe will fight for a world title within 18 months, he's a class act. He danced rings around David Estrada before the Contender show and I thought he looked sharp in the Contender, picking Ahmad apart.

Alfonso is a tough guy as well, I like him.

Ishe and Manfredo had already won minor titles before the Contender show. I think Ishe will be world class in the next 2 years, but Manfredo will depend on what weight class he decides to take on. I think that Manfredo will be better off at a lower weight class like 154.

Alfonso Gomez was my favorite, I liked his attitude. But Gomez belongs down at Jr WW or WW.

I agree, I just hate the attitude we have no days about being undefeated being something so special.
