I think this figure may be slightly exaggerated, as there is no way in hell Evander has amassed a half a billion dollars. Possibly with endorsements and good investments, I'd say maybe $200 mil tops.

Hey Mike Tyson has earned over 300 million JUST boxing If Holyfield made anywhere near that, plus had endoresments(which he did) and make good investments(also has).. Its not that hard to believe. Money makes money, if you can just resist the temptation to spend it all. apparently HOlyfield has also had alot of religious groups contribute to him during his peak because he was such an evangelical christian.. But I don't know how much truth there is to that and I suspect it hurt him when people found out he regularily commited adultery and had illegitimate children
