Sorry Mick, but as Memphis pointed they're all discussion threads with no official line from the promoters, except for one. Now perhaps you consider it semantics, but for me all these threads were born out of the fact that Calzaghe is one of the most discussed fighters on this forum, rather than lots of announcements about the fight.

However, I confess that there is an awful lot of discussion about him, as he does tend to polarise opinion, and I'll drop you a few CC's later on in the week.

Well you shouldn't be considering its going to be the biggest boxing venue in Europe ever. Or maybe he shouldn't be allowed hometown advantage and the fight out to be made in some carnival tent in shitsville, Louisiana, just to placate the haters?

Easier to fill a stadium when it's in one of the home towns, they're relying on the gate money as well for a big money fight like this.
