Just to shut some people up 2 fights outside of England and Wales do not count as venturing out.

For someone who considers himself a journalist there seems to be a lot of hating going on here, and a lack of knowledge. Two fights outside the UK, that's true, but he also fought Woodhall, Starie, Eubank, Reid (granted Eubank was hated at the time) in their home country of ENGLAND. Exactly how many times did the likes of Roy Jones, Floyd Mayweather, B-hop fight outside of the US when they was number one?

It was a money issue that it would be held in Wales rather than Denmark, even if it wasn't, Joe's number 1 at the moment and it's up to the challenger to make the flight.

You can criticise some of his opponents to date, but don't you dare call him whiney ass or a coward, after the Jeff Lacy fight this will be his 2nd fight in 18 months he's fought against THE fighter considered most dangerous to him at the time, the two fighters which the so called hard core fans on websites such as this clamoured for him to fight.
