Yeah I guess your right, never thought about it like that. :P

Seriously this is a very interesting question, imo. We'll never know the answer either... I guess it would depend on how weight drained Toney actually was when he fought Roy Jones.. He apparently killed himself to make 167 then was put on an IV overnight and weighed in at almost 190.. I don't care who you are that would be excruciating and if that's true Toney is a warrior just for still fighting.. But I suspect with Toney at HW it would be somewhat competitive I really have no idea.. Maybe Jones could do it even easier, maybe Toney would be alot more comfortable and could just press his size.. Probably not, im gunna say it would look about the same.
You're right. We'll probably never know.

He cant even beat some second rate heavyweight champ called Rahman!
Roy Jones couldn't beat Rahman either. He cannot even beat Tarver.

When Roy fought Ruiz, who beat Rahman by the way, I could also have seen him outboxing a lazy Rahman. However it would have been a damn dangerous fight. A 240 lb man, albeit a fat ass one, can take a better shot, body or head, than a 200 lb muscled up one. And Toney has always been able to take a better shot than Roy, that's bout all he ever did better than Roy though. Tarver is much faster than Rahman, a south paw, and landed a picture perfect once in a life time shot with his fukin eyes closed against Roy, and Jones ain't been the same since. To address the topic of this thread, I think Roy at 175 a few years ago, against Toney at Cruiser around the time he fought Jirov or before, could defeat James Toney. And it would have looked similar to the first fight, maybe a lil more competitive maybe not. I like Toney, he's a great fighter, but Roy was in a class by himself.
"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"

Ruiz never beat Rahman. Poor Hasim was jipped a few times. That's what he would cry about.

Sadly I watched the Ruiz fight, and yes Rahman did indeed lose that fight, for sure.
