Did Williams come to fight or hug Margarito?

It wasn't so much Margarito coming on as the hand problems of Clottey. Without the hand problems I think Clottey would have beaten Margarito.
Clottey always fades though. And I'm not sure but didn't Margarito break his hand in that fight?

Clottey always has bouts of inactivity later on in the fight. He did the same thing versus Richard Guiterrez in their fight, but had enough rounds to hang on. I like Clottey but I don't buy that the hand lost him the fight especially since it was obviously a different Margarito in the second half of that one.

I would like a rematch though.

is Margaritos chin that good or is Williams just that weak of a puncher...either way I never realized how big Williams is...great hand spead, movement and accuracy but I can't tell he has hurt Atonio once

Antonio Margarito (34-4, 24 ko's) vs Paul Williams (32-0, 24 ko's) Round 9: Williams still out first. Hard left from Williams. Marg stunned on that one. Clench. Double jab from Williams. Body shots from Marg. Upper from Marg! 4 punches by Williams. Body shots by Williams. Hard combo to the head from Williams. Shoulder to shoulder Williams just hammered Marg. Straight right from Marg! Williams uppers & moves out to jab. Marg didn’t know what hit him. Right fromWilliams. Left from Marg. Incredible slugging. Right hand from Williams. Left hook from marg. Clench. Upper from Marg. Williams left & right hooks him. Trading to the bell & Williams go the better of it…I think.

    Round to Williams.
