How has Mundine, Green or Pacquiao even got any where near this thread, they have 0 relevance to a young olymipian prospect from Bolton who had his 14th fight for a decent level belt. Let's put this into perspective.

Every great fighter gets KD sometimes. Good experience for Kahn, and every fan of his should look at his KD in positive way.
He wasn't just knocked down he was almost stopped and was wobbling all over the ring by a mediocre fighter with no power Khan is not great fighter he has leaky defence and will never be world champion imo yes every fighter gets knocked down but he was put down by a guy who fights fighters with losing records more often than not and he has no power.
I haven't seen the fight yet but there's such thing as standing KD.
He was put on his a** and then took a beating and was almost stopped by a powder puff hitter like Blake just said tell me another great fighter that was put on floor by such a weak puncher ??
Mundine was KO'd by Ottke, Alan Green was almost put to sleep by Donny Mcrary, Harrison got one punch KO'd by Sprott, Darchinyan got one punch KO'd by Donaire, Steve Molitor absolutely battered Michael Hunter despite only having 8 ko's at the time, Andre Ward got dropped by an unknown, it's boxing and all of the guys are trained to punch at the end of the day.

The important thing is that despite being hurt Khan was able to do what Harrison, Haye, Lewis and Zab Judah were not able to do, and that's come back to win.
Mundine isn't great fighter Allen Green is mediocre all these fighters you mentioned are mediocre Judah was koed by devasting puncher and Lewis proved he had good chin in his career he was koed by devasting shots.
So even though Khan is no good according to you he's too good to be compared to Mundine and Green? Interesting double standards there...

By the way Judah was made to dance by Carlos Baldimor whose record shows was not a puncher either

And Manny pacquiao got KTFO by Torrecampo who had 5 KO's at the time.
I wasn't comparing anyone and i did not say he was no good i said imo he will never be world champion Judah never had good chin or heart he only showed heart in one fight with Cotto and he has never beaten top boys and i thought that was body shot Pac was koed with unless im wrong ??

Haven't actually watched it myself yet so I can't judge how much trouble he was actually in....Seems that everyone who has watched it is split on the result of Kahns performence....

Still I will have to continue to say he is young and hopefully will learn from this

Im sorry mate but we were watching two seperate incidents. I saw him go down, get up, respond to what his corner were saying and re-take a knee until 8.

When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough

I completely agree. I only mentioned them in response to the uneducated noob Blake. Khan has to be judged on what he is a very young professional in only his 13th fight.

He looked vulnurable tonight but he showed resiliance to come back and win in style.

Not all over the place, not a whisker away from losing wither.
He got caught and his legs were all over the place he went down and got up then took another pasting and he was all over the place i thought he was going to get stopped in that round as did many people.

Lets be fair it was only his second year as a pro, his 14th fight, and his first 12 rounder, against a guy who is 28-1 and only loss is to a guy fighting for a world title next week, name me a prospect since De La Hoya who has been rushed on like that.

Absolutlely mate I'm with you fella. He showed some balls in that 6th round, he reminded me a bit of Gatti, fighting on legs of jelly for half a round like he couldn't care less. The first thing he said afterwards was that he loved every second. This kid will be bringing us excitiement for years to come, partly due to his obvious vulnerability

This guy had beaten not one decent name at all and was soft hitter thats why he was picked plus him fighting Arthur would make Khans victory look better but it was almost disaster Khan took step up i respect that but he didn't look that great tonight his defence was leaky and he was getting hit too much lucky for him he wasn't in with a puncher thats all i can say.

Thats enough Ice, ok your a Khan hater but your just talking crap now for the sake of talking crap. The kid's 20 I can't believe your being so critical, he survived a huge shellacking and came back to win, forget the brit factor, the olympic factor, you must think the kid's got some balls? Never mind speed, footwaork and power. He has obvious defensive flaws but he's doing a few things right don't you think? No one's trying to say he's Floyd Mayweather here.

I dont think he was as hurt as it first appeared..

The way i saw it was not just that he was hit with a couple of good shots.. First his foot was tabgled in the ropes and he was hit with a good shot off balance.. and limond hit him with a couple of mean shots and his body weight was all over khan when he went down..

Notice he got up strait away and just looked bad on his feet..Imo he was worried sick that he would be stopped by the ref..Notice he pleaded to the ref and told him he was ok..

Did an ok job of getting out of the round but i think sheer nervousness fucked the round up for him after that debacle..

He can certainly work on defense.. and he'll get used to taking bigger shots as he goes on..I dont think he has been exposed for a terrible chin..Its not perfect but he'll get better

Certainly the case was..Its not the finished product..

But when the unfinished product gets in fights like that..Who cares Grin

Tell you something i saw from khan which we hadnt seen before..

He shit talked a little..Got a bit mad and really wanted to hurt limond.. If the fight had gone on i think we would have seen a brutal finish..

I would now like to Fwock off all these people saying he'll take a fight that he cant loose next..I want another step up and another dangerousn fight.. Thats boxing..Boxing is dangerous now give him a guy that wants to smash him..

Commentators made a good point though..He's becoming more of a man rather then a boy now..
    Interesting stuff Smiley Wink
