So you think Hatton should fight lower level guys instead of fighting the best
Damn, wiz, don't you guys know that Floyd Mayweather is strong enough to take Ricky's best attacks and still pound him from all conceivable angles? So Ricky Hatton fans want him to commit suicide at this stage The guy has good fights left in him, beating Malignaggi or Witter pretty good and make a sound statement and farewell to the light-welters and then take a fight at 147 pounds where he has 50/50 chances of winning such as hardcore fight with Miguel Cotto... I strongly believe Ricky can come out on top there but y'all are so pissed with Floyd's provocation that you are murdering your idols and heroes... Ricky made an excellent move stating that if Floyd wants a pice of his azz, come and get it at 140 pounds, there he would be weaker and Ricky can press him until he asphyxiates... At 147 pounds and in November, you are putting Ricky's career in jeopardy, brother, all the best

I think Floyd would win, but I think your going a bit overboard with this career suicide deal. Floyd isn't really destroying people's careers after he's done with them.
Man, you just gat to see, Ricky is an energy fighter in the first place, he comes out with good footwork feinting fast and actually can beat Floyd to the punch, getting that left unorthodox volley punch first with some leverage ( very much different to De La Hoya) but then what? He finishes the punch combination with a couple of meaty solid body punches and closes the distance, immobilizes the action and clinches so that the ref breaks them apart and Ricky goes at him again... One ref that won't let Ricky grab or hold so much and he runs out of ideas, can't jab, can't counter, he is into a massacre ( or suicidal mission), Floyd pushes him easy, hold him off with the left elbow and unleashes super sharp, painful right hands, right uppercuts and short blinding fast left hooks until Hatton's face goes from palid white to gory red and colours dark purple... I mean what's the point, all you guys shout soccer chants and go insane for some rounds and then disapointed to say the least, Floyd will trash talk him and the Union Flag afterwards, Ricky won't come out for a year or more and he won't get big money fights anymore, give it a rest please? Ricky is a great exciting fighter and he deserves more two or three years at the brightest spotlight

If you want Ricky to be fighting at "the brightest spotlight" as you say, and you don't want him fighting Floyd. Then who do you want to see Ricky fighting the next two or three years?
It can be Cotto right away, yeah, Miguel and Ricky for hardcore, no-holds-barred, two fisted assault with the biggest hearted warrior surviving to call himself the toughest P4P fighter in the World - It would be a thrill for Great Britain and Puerto Rico - but in case Ricky needs a tune up or 2, beat Paulie Malignaggi pretty bad to submission and then step up to 147 pounds and take on Joshua Clottey... Finally he can Floyd at age 31 plus and considerably affected from inactivity cause believe me, Floyd is not gonna fight anybody relevant till then Ricky is definitely in the welter mix, Hoya is NOT, and I wish Ricky all the best

I'd love to see Ricky vs Cotto myslef, but I think Ricky would get a serious beating vs Cotto. Floyd isn't battering top notch WWs. So Ricky fighting Cotto I think would go agianst your thought of not wanting Ricky to get destroyed. And for the record, I'm really not a fan of Hatton or Floyd, just a fight I'd like to see. I'm a Cotto fan

Right wiz, then Hatton vs Mayweather to be but it has to happen real quick cause God Damn It, this sissy thing that is happenening between the two of them " Ricky has a beer belly","My 4 rounds were more exciting than Floyd's last fights", "Ricky is a coward", "He must come down to 140 pounds", this is pretty awful and most boxing fans are fed up with it!

I think that it's far to say you can scratch Antonio Cry-A-River Margarito off the potential challengers list there.
Never beg a 40 dollar hooker...specially after she's just turned down your mom's credit card!!
