He fought Williams when he didn't have to. Could have went to Cotto for more money.
But he gave Williams his shot in the ring. Williams was better.

Williams was Margaritos mandatory challenger, and was obligated to fight him...... Floyd wasnt obligated to fight Margarito, and made the same money to fight the lineal recognized Welterweight Champ....
