You can pick 3 weight classes that you like the most, please explain why.
Overall quality of competition. (depth of talent) is the main factor.

For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.
OK I'll start
I chose
Super Middleweight (because we almost have a unified champ)
Welterweight (The most talent in any one division IMO)
Super Featherweight (great talent pool young talent, old talent and everywhere in between)
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.
Looks like 147 is the big division in most peoples minds, I'm surprised that there haven't been any comments.................![]()

I voted for Heavy, Middle and Welter. I believe that these (along with lightweight) will always be the best weights in boxing.
As usual I didn't read the first post and only voted once, for the welterweights unsuprisingly.
If I would have picked another two it would have been superfeather and super middle.
All three divisions have three or four top fighters all capable of beating each other on a given day and we eagerly await the unification fights which will inevitably take place.
I wen't with Heavy - Cause we're very close to a unified Champ (at least it appears) and we at least know who the best Heavy in the world is. Sultan & Chagaev are getting ready to do their thing and I think it will happen.
Super Middle - Same thing, very close to a unified Champ and so many great fights to be made there.
Welter - Need I say more, I think this last weekend was great for boxing I mean ESPN showed highlights of all 3 WW fights in their channels. This IMO, is causing everyone else to jump up and say I wan't in on this.....
Welterweight has the young old and P4P talent
Super Featherweight has more old than young but still a great division with great fighters.
Cruiserweight has come a VERY long way since the limits went up. Deserves a mention.
Hidden Content
Original & Best: The Sugar Man
Welter - it has the best fighters in the world.
Super Feather - it has the second best group of fighters.
Junior Welter - Hatton, Castillo, Malignaggi, Holt, Torres and the rest made this my 3rd choice
Welter- Just look at the roster.
Middle- Taylor, Pavlick, and winky is still a possible factor in this division.
Lightweight- Fairly deep talent pool.
Jr middle gets an honorable mention because we don't know if floyds ever gonna fight at that weight again, if mosley's retiring or not, or if de la hoya is gonna fight again.
Welter easily for me.Then Super Middleweight followed by Superfeather
I like most others went for the obvious, the welters, then the Jr. Lightweights which amazingly has titlists not even among the top seven fighters of the rankings. I used my third vote on heavyweight which a couple of months ago was bad, but with the return of Vitali, the emergance of "Tiger" Thompson, The combacking Valuev and the Chagaev-Ibragimov bout seems to have new life.

Speaks for its self really? I would be shocked if so much as one person didn't pick this...
Cruiserweight
It may not be the most renownd, or followed wight, it may not have ppv stars in it, and may not get the general fans excited..
but Cruiser right now is on of the toughest and well matched weights, its close to WW in terms of depth and competition, but lacks the p4p stars...
Enzo, Haye, bell braithweight, all exciting big punchers...
Enzo, bell mormack, cunning him the polish fella they can all box and box well...
4 fighters who are already 1-1 and looking at rubber matches, we have a ring champ, a unified champ
all it needs is a little more publicity, kinda remindes me of the early junior middleweight tbh... wont be much longer...
Ssuper featherweight
Barrera, pac JMM, soto guzman and a few on th up, some aging, but still some questions, still some rematches, and still alot of excitment...
147 and 130 are head and shoulders above every other division, in my opinion.
Tough to pick the 3rd place division. If Winky goes back to 160, I might say middleweight.
heavyweight - KNOCKOUT KNOCKOUT KNOCKOUT
mind over speed and power
I voted for one without reading, lol. I didn't realise you could pick 3. My bad.
I voted for Lightweight. For me, the fights in that division have the potential to be so exciting.
