If you're already crazy, giving you energy and a racing thought track probably does not help. I know people that do coke very often and they've never commited a crime nor have they ever blown huge amounts of money on it. They hold down a job and quite honestly unless you saw them do it, or saw them while they were on it, you'd never know they did it.

That being said, it IS highly addictive no matter what anyone tells you and simply doing it once can make you mentally addicted to it for the rest of your life (though overtime it becomes less powerful, it's still there). It can result in bi-polar disorder among many other things but when it comes down to it, the coke didn't pull the gun and it didn't force itself up in her nose.

Drugs can be used responsibly just as much as guns and other things people wanna outlaw because they want to take away any responsibility somebody has for their own actions.
