No offence to Rees of course
Having seen some of the highlights, Rees is some way away from being a natural light welterweight, he looked as though he could shed enough weight for another division or two. M;baye was truly an embarrasment though, how the blinking heck did he become a world champion. Rees will probably hang on to the belt against lesser fighters until he has to face his mandatory who will obviously be a natural LWW, but once he comes up against a proper fighter of that caliber, I fear he could get exposed.
Rees looked like he should be fighting the likes of Ian Napa and Jason Booth, he's shorter and dumpier than Ricky Hatton

Credit to him for winning the fight. I only caught it from round 7 onwards and the rounds I saw were painful to watch.

Neither will do anything in this division. I'd imagine Rees would be eyeing up a unification showdown with Junior Witter in a world title fight so potentially awful I hope to God it's not televised
I hate to say it, but if that one happened I'd be backing Witter to finish Rees by Ko, despite his dreary style, Witter on the counter is a very different case to M'baye on the counter, and I'd see Witter finishing him early doors, cause when he's in the mood, he finishes well.

Heres Amirs chance to be a world champ by 21.
That must of been a consideration in the master plan

Braithwaite must have iron ribs because he took some fierce fierce punches downstairs,Enzo looked good in patches but theres still loads of room for improvement and he's in good hands with the Calzaghes.
Well done all the UK boys...Alex,Gavin and Enzo.
Enzo Calzaghe is easily one of the best trainers in the World

    Agreed

My mix of respect for Enzo C (Even though im really no Jc Fan) and the fact i knew that Mbaye is a tart and i have no love for the fellow is what spurred me to have rees down in the Prediction Comp..

Nice little tale for rees though!

I fear he will be high in demand for people wanting to pick up a seemingly easy title though

HAA Does anyone remember rawling talking about how rees was banned for a little while..

Just the way he put it made me howl !

Yea so he was supended from boxing for a little while...

Chinned someone at a funeral..Didnt go down to well
