who has he beaten again? I love Margarito. But if we're talking the Mayweathers and Hattons. Has he beaten anyone close to that skill level? Like those loses were in 10 years ago, but in those 10 years he has beaten? Love Margarito but who's he beaten?

As much as i hate to agree with you on that, i have to. He may have not fought any elite fighters, but he hasent had the opportunity to thus far. Mayweather is his chance to beat "somebody". It all starts somewhere and i like Margarito and think he has a chance of beating PBF. But im not sure if its a good style matchup for him

Am I missing something? do you think maybe he would assume most people have some common sense to know that losses 12 years ago arent going to hurt him when he's only 28 now.

hes not saying that the losses mean he sucks, hes saying that losses to unheard of fighters almost ensure nobody outside the boxing community will ever give a fuck about you, reguardless of the circumstances surrounding the losses

Well...as i stated before...winky was 25-0 when he got his first shot...margarito was 22-3....winky was seen as an undefeated contender so he got his first shot...then because he fought good in a loss to a champ..he got another shot...he didn't lose against nobody's....and wasn't it JMM that gave PAC the shot? JMM was the champ right?

And Zab got his shots and earned public interest because even though he got clipped against KT...he clearly won the first round...and you can't penalize Judah for losing to KT...because KT's a great...then judah went on to beat chop-chop for the WBO belt then moved up and beat spinks for three of the WW belts....so he may have gotten beat by KT and SPinks, but these are notable fighters....and sometimes its better to lose against named opponents than it is to beat unknowns....
