Shit,I feel for Amonsot,I thought he has the makings of a dangerous opponent. His punches looked deceptively strong judging by Kats face and if he learns how to use the jab more efficiently from the southpw stance,he would be dangerous. I hope he gets better asap! Is it serious?

As for Kats,he's been in 2 FOTY CONTENDERS! A very exciting fighter with awesome power and some gaping flaws! If someone was able to jab and move for 12 rounds,Kats would get schooled. I think he should stay away from Casamayor. He wants to get up close, bang away but from distance,he just eats leather, totally ineffective.

I can envision is happening with great ease actually. I can certainly understand the flip side of this opinion, but I see Diaz crumpling under the pressure. After what I saw last night I doubt Baby Bull can hurt Katsidis. So Diaz either fights at supersonic speed or gets roughed up.

Either way at the press conference Diaz should take the oppurtunity to call his opponent Kat-shit-is.

LMAO!!!! I disagree,I think Juan Diaz(who I'm not a particularly big fan of) would outwork Kats. With some lateral movement, his decent jab,the constant pressure he applies,I think he would outwork Kats. I think Juan Diaz bodywork would slow Kats down too and also,Kats has no plan B. What if Diaz takes his power? Diz took Freitas power who was a monstrous banger too.

Juan Diaz does everthing Katsidis does, but much better. Katsidis looks to cut easily and Diaz is a very good accurate puncher. I think Diaz would outclass Katsidis and stop him late.

Sad to hear about Amonsot. As the fight went on and Katsidis looked so limited, I was wanting Amonsot to win. I always go for the underdog in fights if they start to do well against the other guy. Is this definitely the end of his career?

You got one of the most exciting fights this year SO take it as that. No ones saying Kats is unbeatble, No one is saying Kats is the man at Lightweight, No one is saying Kats will be around for ever.

Appreciate the fight for what it was, appreciate Kats for what he is a fwocken warrior.
He fought with 1 fwocken eye, it's obvous you guys haven't seen much of Kats or you would already know he has onion skin and cuts easily, hes wild and packs a punch.

If Kats would have gone out there and danced around and won a shitty decision you'd all be here saying what a shitty performance by Kats, and in the words of one of my good friends here (Starr) you'd say he was 'exposed'

Fucken kid fights his a** off and give a Gatti, Basilio, Carbajal performance and all you guys can do is look at the negatives.

That's like going back to Titos early fights when he would get dropped and people were quick to ride him off since Tito would hit the canvas in almost every fight. Instead of looking closer at how the fihgter was able to win despite having trouble.

I watched it again last night and you are right, Katsidis was a true warrior in there and i think Amonsot was great too which makes his performance even better.
I didn't know to much about Amonsot and i thought the K man would take him out easily, a great fight put on by both guys. How Amonsot got up from that right hand in round two and still go the distance is amazing to me.

You have no idea how frustrating it is to see and hear people talk about him like he is some sort of ''Warrior, The Great, Rocky'' hero and know the truth. This is my expression of frustration, which i am entitled to. You, and people like you can carry on pretending its okay to 'respect' someone and that letting them get away with anything is okay because they box. I couldn't live with that, but if you can - good for you.
Dude I love boxing & that was a great fight. Hope Amonsot recovers o.k.
End of the day what he does out side the ring is not my problem. In the ring he has proved himself a warrior time & time again!

He looked like he wouldn't require any surgery so not sure what happens next for Amonsot
Katsidis v Diaz is where it's at

I doubt Amonsot will fight again.
Katsidis/ Diaz would be are great match-up! I think I'm in the minority but I'd pick Katsidis to win!

    Silverback,
As much as I too wanna say that Kats will TKO 'Baby Bull', I just can't. Diaz has proved to me that he can take some shots as well as dish them out.
I'm a huge Kats fan and have been, I just wan't the fight to happen and whatever the outcome is I know it's gonna beat great wether Diaz wins it or Kats one thing's for sure theres gonna be fireworks. I hope Kats takes enough time to try and get the eye healed well, last thing he want's is to jump into a fight and being that he has onion skin, get cut and loose the fight on a stoppage.

    CC#180 Klitschkofan,
How you been man? Ain't seen you around here for a while....

Damn! remember months ago we were talking about Kats coming onto the scene? I think we were talking about him being showcased on ESPN but the fight was derailed I forget why?
Anyway! It's been a really good road for Kats.

Wether people think he's limited, one dimensional, all power no skill.
You can't take away the fact that the kid is what boxing is all about. Which is coming to fight.
