I still think the Frank Warren is going to bring Khan on slowly, and let him have a few fights at Commonwealth level, cause if he goes in with Rees and wins, there's gonna be a few awkward questions when Khan starts to avoid fights with mandatories, and then gives up the belt to chase a super-fight/rematch with Rees.
if khan wins title its easy to keep away from top challengers for about 1year warren will make sure of that top challengers can be paid to slip title fights any way I know what you are saying about avoiding fights
the title is there for khan how do you think gav won his opponent only had to Jab at the top of his head to keep gav away not rocket science is it he took a back hander to make gav look good so when khan fights him for title gets viewing with tv station seen gav in training in gym he is too fat likes his drink to much
The point I'm making is that I reckon Warren won't want to see Khan take a world title too early, because when the mandatories come about Khan will be facing fighters with maybe 20-30 fights for him, and will likely get his a*** handed to him on a plate because he doesn't have the experience.

I know what your on about but its easy to keep away from top challengers if your the champion they can get paid to stand aside or if they are not in with the right promoter they wont get the chance at all
