I heard there's been 70 some odd million copies sold worldwide already. 20 dollars a pop and that bitch has made over a billion dollars with this book in under 2 days.

and all for a shitty little story about a dumb wizard boy and a group of stumpy hogwarts.

Bilbo chuckles to himself as he settles down to smoke some Halfling weed and think back on all his old adventures. 'Little Hogwarts' he sighs, they wouldn'y last five minutes against Saruman's well trained Urak Hai, so childish :P

I saw a women reading one of the books a few years back while i was waiting in a doctors office (surgery follow up). My grandma doesn't like anything like that and thought it was odd that an adult would read such a thing. So she whispyelled (whispered at a level that is louder than a regular voice tone) to me "Hey is she reading harry potter?" At which point the lady started looking a bit uncomfortable while pretty much everybody else was trying not to laugh. I tryed to downplay the whole thing with the "Give my grandma a break she has alzhymer's (not really)" look but it was still a bit embarassing.

It's probably more popular with adults than you would think but i'd have to guess a majority of them aren't proud of the fact they like it.
