2. vs Montell Griffen 2 - Roy at his best again, not only was he 100% focused and prepared, but he came into the fight with mean intentions, something we don't see very often from Roy. This fight was early in Jones' Light heavyweight career, and by knocking out a tough, legit LHW in Montell Griffen with one punch he showed the world that he carried his power even up at that weight.
3. vs James Toney - A lot of the Jones' haters make excuses saying "ohhh toney was weight drained for this fight", but the fact of the matter is Toney is one the best fighters of our generation and Jones made him look like a bum.
4. vs Pazienza - Pulled out most of his arsenal, fast combination punching, big powershots from strange angles, and also showed that he had a terriffic jab when he wanted to use it.
5. vs Glen Kelly - Utterly destroyed Kelly with hard shots to the body and head, and the ending is the stuff of legends.
6. vs John Ruiz - IMO this fight gets downplayed because of how unpopular Ruiz is, but the fact is Ruiz was a good HW who had a functional 40lb weight advantage over Jones. He beat guys like Holyfield, Golota, Oquendo and Rahman, and Roy Jones just dominated him (I think I gave Ruiz 1 round). A masterful display of the Sweet Science by Jones.
