Thre maybe the slimmest of chances if Oscar is practically a bag of bones at 147...but I'm grasping...

Either way (Floyd or Oscar), Hatton's gonna look a lot like Gatti did when he fought the aforementioned and reknownedly vain egotists. I cant see Hatton headed for anything but a beat down either way. But then again either way it would be entertaining cuz Ricky comes to fight for sure! Plus he'd last longer than Gatti did I think. Personally I hope he does fight DLH and Mosley fights Mayweather. That'd be a couple of tight fights.
I agree with this whole post.

It amazes me how some on the foum were just calling for ODH's retirement because in their opinion he is not an elite fighter. Some of the same posters were singing Hatton praises for being one of the top p4p fighters in the world. This fight comes up & all some people (including some of the aforementioned) want to talk about is how ODH is way too big, etc... Hatton actually was the bigger man to start their carreers (Hatton JWW 149lbs---ODH a small LW 133lbs).

Nobody talked about the weight when ODH wentr way north in weight to challenge B-HOP @ MW, Winky all the way to 170lbs, or RJJ to HW. And I could go all day, that's just a few cases. Here we have 2 guys that are very similar in natural fighting weight & that's all people are talkin about is "Oscar is so much bigger".

This is hillarious IMO. For the record, I think that Hatton is a damn good fighter. But it's almost like some people are lining up an excuse for Hatton already for if/when he gets drummed.

ODH is scrutinized as much as anyone that's out there. He' a natural LW that gets stopped 1x in his career to all time MW B-Hop & everyone talks about how he don't like it/can take it to the body. He loses a SD to the consensus p4p king & people say that he's slipping. etc...etc... The scrutiny of ODH is to the point of downright foolish.

As for as the PBF fight if Hatton has his choice (PBF or ODH). Although the hype of 2 undefeated champions gett'n it on would be good for boxing there are $$$-many-$$$ reasons why I think that ODH would be Ricky's choice. This is a business & I know that I don't blame these guys for goin where the biggest $$$ is.

Just beacause Hatton didn't look strong @ WW vs Collazo doesn't mean that thw "he's just a little guy." "ODH is too big." cards should be played. It should be the same for everyone. It's 7 damn lbs for Hatton to go up against a guy (ODH)that made his debut as the smaller man (7lbs smaller than Hatton).

Let's give the Bugger stuff a rest. If/when this fight is made. ODH will spank him because he hyas the style to & he's the better fighter.--------------------PERIOD!!!!!

And Gatti is not & was not no Hatton!!!!
What you talking about? When was the last time Dela Hoya fought at 140lbs?? He is the bigger man period, he has moved up the weights because he has always had the credentials to do so, do you think Dela Hoya would make 140 now?? Would he balls, he is the bigger man the guy has been taking shots from men who now operate at 175 lbs It's not an excuse its a fact Dela Hoya is the much bigger man. Im not making excuses or no one else is there facing the facts the only reason to take this fight is the money, Dela Hoya has got a style which would be bad full stop imo, but the fact like i said is he is the bigger man.
Could/would ODH make 140lbs now?=NO. But that has nothing to do with what my point was. Is he bigger than Hatton=YES. But why is everyone making it such an issue because it's a Hatton thread. It's one weightclass/7lbs from where he spent his whole career. Fighters go up all the time & nobody ever makes it this big of a discussion. "ODH is much bigger", don't act like he's some kind of a monster.

So he's a little bigger. If Hatton is supposed to be a top p4p guy & ODH is on such a decline (according to some on here) then Ricky shouldn't have a problem handling ODH. Right?

And for the record, I'm no Hatton hater. I appreciate him as a very good fighter.
