Default A question I just Dont Know The Awnser To

This might take awhile to explain
A few years back when we lived in Florida,it was a high end Hurricane Season.
Somehow this ruptured the sewer lines at our apartment complex, which went all over the parking lot
I had a nick on my right index finger from messing with our dog
Long short,it got massivley infected,so bad I drove myself to the hospital at 5 AM
Now being back in training,Im noticing the middle joint is constantly getting irritated,to the point I cant completely close that finger
While I dont notice it when Im training, hitting any of the bags or sparring
    A)How concerned should I be?
B)Any ideas on alleviating the annoyance in the first place

You have bad blood, try eating some greens & fruit instead of hotdogs and pringles, lemon will kill all infection.

When you use your other hand to close it can you feel it in your elbow

It will be on the exterior tendon thats the one that restricts the closing mechanism try working it into the elbow with the other thumb its a common occurance it wont do any harm to try.

    I will be god damned
The joint itself is still stiff sore and angry, but Ill be damned if that didnt allow it close
Might explain why it doesnt bother me on the bags or sparring
    Thanks Scrap,CC today,and another tommorrow
Ill discuss it with Feur and see if we cant come up with some solutions
I used to pitch, and have had some minor tendinitis issues with that elbow, add that on to the damage that occured to the finger over the swelling,it makes sense

If you can get hold of some Arnica tablets Arnica 6 and take them as prescribed should do the trick

Hey Scrap,it went snap a couple of days a go
Turns out it was for the best for it to do it,it was a seperation
Had it it reset tonight, even though it hurt like hell to do it,and Ill have to baby it,before the swelling started I could imediatly close the hand perfectly
Apparantly according t Feur I made a brief grunt and went face forward, after the big ol snap,I have no idea, everything went white for me
I think wha happened is when it shifted I didnt notice it,and blaimed it on earlier damage, when it popped a couple of day I go,I took a serious look ati it and saw something was wrong
Now after having it reset I can still close it with the swelling

Not knowing anything about it I'd guess being able to close it is usually a good sign - is that what the doc said? Did he/she say much about what kind of recovery you can expect?
