There's a 19 year old kid out Detroit, Michigan who I think is going to be an outstanding fighter. Vernon "The Ice Man" Paris.

My buddy Richard Rivers is turning pro around 126....he's been training this month with Roger Mayweather and Jack Mosley and is turning pro soon.

This is the top prospects/prodigy in boxing thread. It's not the "boxings bums of the future" thread.

ha ha ha.....but I didn't mention anything about you VD

But seriously Rich is my boy and he's very good...I'm not saying he's going to be a world champion....but I'm not saying he WON'T be either. He's a good fighter he's very dedicated and you should respect my boy, else you'll regret it and jump on the bandwagon later.

And being only 21 he is a PROSPECT...he's not an olympian or anything but he's done very well for himself so far and I think training with guys like Roger and Jack he OBVIOUSLY has skill as those guys wouldn't waste their time with a nobody.

Dont know if this guys was brought up in here, didnt feel like goin through 14 pages...
Odlanier Solis the Cuba gold medal winner in 2004, he defected awhile back and is currently 3-0 2 ko's hes 6'1" 250 ish and to win a gold says hes got boxing ability. Please, oh please let him be for real, we need a new heavyweight. The guys he has fought have really good records for beginning bouts.

He beat Felix Savon 2 out of 3, so he can box for sure. Some 224 amateur wins and only 14 losses.

There is this guy who won the heavyweight gold at the olympics a while back, i for get his name. He has had a couple of loses since he turned pro but he still claims he is gonna unify the heavyweight division. What a great prospect he is and he is only 35 as well.
Oh what is his damn name......... I think it rhymes with Fraudly

also a two time bantamweight gold medalist from Cuba named Rigondeaux has apparently defected to Germany.

I don't know how old he is, but he must be talented.
