I think that is reasonable compromise.

Joe can fill the seats and Americans can order the PPV

    What do you think?
As I stated earlier,I think it should be at Staples in LA
No home field advantage for anyone

Dirty B-Hop must go to Europe if he wants to fight the champ - else he can continue fighting old borring fighters in the US without great public attention.
Hopkins and Winky couldnt even sell out the arena. That how low the interest was there. And Hopkins talks about fighting in a US stadium?! The logistics dont add up.

Calzaghe would have to be the interest and that means letting his fans spend a fortune shipping themselves over to the states
And Hopkins got paid 3 million for it
He could earn more by going to the UK and selling PPV and getting a share of the huge revenue in the stadium itself.
Which is of course why they "offered" Taylor 3 mill
The purse for Calzeghe/Kessler isnt going to be that high
Kessler is paid more than 25 million DDK - I think the offer is 5.5 million US$

That is reasonable. Calzaghe can sell seats easily and Americans can watch on PPV. Hopkins isnt a huge draw live in the arena as the Winky fight suggested. It makes sense to maximise revenue for both fighters by fighting in Wales.

Would Hopkins be willing to face such adversity though?!

For the paycheck and potential glory, I have no doubt that he would be willing to face it........
It's not like he has anything else to do :P

I don't even think this'll happen purely because Joe and Hopkins will not wanna travel and give up home advantage and $$$,hope i'm wrong.
I also think Hopkins is too cute experienced and strong for him and would bully his way to victory or spark him.
Just don't see Joe winning it.

It would be good for Joe to fight in the States (would shut some h8ters up) but at the same time Joe is expected to fill the Millenium with 60 thousnad plus to fight mikkel....thats a world record since ali - leon spinks 2.....so it makes great sense to fight there....and i guarente you more poeple will show
up for Joe + Bernard than Joe and kess.....Plus America gets the ppv no matter were it is...and watching the fight on tv with a 60 plus thousand crowd will be better than 9000+ that you get in america (matter of opinion but im sure most would agree)
