Yep, I don't get it. I watched the 1st Byrd-Wladdy fight just yesterday and it was very 1-sided. The best you could say for Byrd in that fight is that he usually defended well and occasionally came forward and tried to get inside. However, he just didn't have an answer for Wladdy's jab, left hook and occasional straight right hand. Has Wladdy deteriorated since that fight? I really don't think so although his reaction to getting scared or hurt now is to hold whereas he didn't used to be that way before the Brewster fight. I doubt whether that will matter much against Byrd. Wladdy may hold occasionally to take a rest, but he won't hold much otherwise unless a miracle (or disaster depending on who you're rooting for) happens and Byrd hits Wladdy right on the chin with the biggest straight left that he's ever thrown.
