    Fenech V Nelson 1
    Whitaker V Chavez

Both draws and both Fenech and Whitaker would have won easy in a 15 rounder, then again the judges in these fights were unconscious for the entire 12 rounds so it's possible they may not have woken up in time to make a decision.

I can't think of any others off the top of my head...but any fight that pits a boxer vs puncher is going to be dicier the longer it goes....It takes rounds of body punching to wear down a boxer like Williams, PBF etc...How many times have we watched a slick boxer win the first several rounds only to see the puncher come on late but not have enough rounds left to win it? I'll say this though if ODH/Tito had been 15..Oscar simply wouldn't have stopped giving Tito a boxing lesson till the 10th or 11th round. I don't really like the way his corner told him to back off or that he listend but how anyone doesn't think that he easily won seven of the first 9 rounds baffles me.

Problem with these threads is that they're basically based on the idea that all of a sudden 3 rounds are tacked onto the end of the fight.

all 12 round fights that went the distance would likely have been very different - the fighters train and pace themselves for 12 rounds... you have to take into account how much foresight affects the texture of a fight.

There a lot, but some that I can think are Williams vs. Margarito, Hopkins vs Taylor, Hatton vs Collazo
Puerto Rico, Small Island, Big Champions!!!

That was in the era of world title 15 rounders, but that fight would never have been fought over 15 rounds. It was a 12 rounder because it wasn't a world title fight - it was actually for the North American title. It's also a mighty call to say that Ali would have been stopped: his jaw had been broken as early as the first or second round, and nobody managed to stop Ali with the obvious exception of his retirement against Holmes in his penultimate fight.
