Virgil Hill said to me in an interview once..."If you hold a title in this sport there is a 50% chance your doing something wrong"......Ten seconds later he said...."I hate every sanctioning body there is..They have made more money then I have off my sanctioning fee's....The only reason I keep my title is the fact I am guarenteed the bigger purse..If it wasn't for that I would refuse to have one" ....That coming from a 3 or 4 time world champion so what does that say about the sanctioning bodies....

2 weeks ago Hopkins said in a press confrence " I love being the LHW Ring Champion. I don't have to pay sanctioning fees and I don't have to fight guys not worthy of a title shot..Plus it shows I am the true champion of the division"
