Floyd could then cement and seal the claim to saying with confidence he beat the best at 140. and the critics would have to unanimously agree and with out debate. Floyd is going to smoke Ricky but if Floyd thinks he will come into the welter weight division owning people like he owned Hatton, Floyd has another thing coming to him and I think he and the rest of the world know this. I doubt Floyd steps back into the ring ever again, against a true young hungry welter weight.
And if he decides to fight the winner of Mosley-Cotto next, what will you then say?
I will be SHOCKED and AWED!

But if he decided to make this foolish jump, I see him losing.


Therefore, I don't see him making this move because Floyd is either too smart or too chicken.
