I'm surprised nobody has mentioned Jack Johnson? I think there was a film about him called 'Great White Hope' starring James Earl Jones?

I think no one mentioned JJ as there has already been a film made about him. Bit of a redundant thread otherwise.

Also the title of this thread would have to be changed to "Whose Career That Has Been Made Into A Movie Would Make a Good Movie?"

He possible led the most interesting life of any boxer though....
