Great news for Evander, this is best possible opponent imo. He has a chance, although this fight is certainly not a gimme. It will be a tough slog for Evander but if he wins I guess that he will then face Chagaev with a real chance to unify two belts

How can a 4 time world champ be overrated?
How can a guy who displayed heart and determination in every big fight in his career (sometimes while being injured) be overrated?
A guy who left a piece of himself in the ring after every fight?
DO YOU NOT REMEMBER ROUND 10 in 92' against BOWE? how can a person that went through all that be overrated?
Dont forget, he is one of the first to completely dominate Mike Tyson 6 YEARS before lennox lewis finaly stepped in the ring with Mike.

He was a 4 time "champion," because he would get a title, lose it ASAP, get it back. A champion DEFENDS their title successfully (and i hope you're not counting his victory over John Ruiz as anything)

Holyfield fans need to quit ramming this "heart," garbage down everybody's throats. The guy was on the same client list for steroids as Barry Bonds, Mark McGuire, Rafael Palemero, and many other athletes that got busted for steroids, and he still lost 8 fights. Steroids do not equal "heart." The guy was a punching bag.

He lost to John Ruiz, Larry Donald, and was knocked out by feather fisted (at heavyweight) James Toney. In his so called prime, he lost 2 out of 3 to Riddick Bowe (who nobody considers an all time great) and was even knocked out by Michael Moorer. Hardly the resume of an "all time great," and certainly not one of the greatest heavyweight of all time , which you stated he may be in your ridiculous, garbage post.










and for the record................. Lou Savaresse is a journeyman. Getting knocked out by Mike Tyson in the 1st round, and Kirk Johnson in the 4th round does not make him a "tough veteran. "
