You cant get hurt skiing?
tell that to sonny bono.
And is that an established sport?
Of course it is
Skateboardings been around as a competitive sport for 30 years now
Being hurt in something doesn't legitimize or delegitimize a sport. You can get hurt doing anything but honestly is it or is it not better described as a hobby than a sport?. You can skateboard around town and pretty much anywhere. You can't just ski anywhere. You have to organize sports. If you can just go out and do something, than it's a hobby but if you have to travel to some specified area or call up some friends and then go to a specified area to play its a sport.
