It is one of the top 15 or so championship rounds of all time, in my view. I watch that fight a handful of times every year.Originally Posted by ICE COLD BOXING

Everyone remember the way Manny was screaming as they traded and jirov was hurt and toney is breaking him down in the final moments jirov still landing extremely hard blows, the boom Toney goes to the body and comes back to the head with an uppercut and knocks him down..
Thats prob one of my favourite knockdowns of all time

Toney-Jirov is definitely the best cruiserweight fight I've ever seen.
It's really a shame that Toney couldn't keep the weight off. I would've loved to see him fight guys like Bell, Mormeck, and Haye at cruiserweight.
toney and jirov was the best
holyfield vs. de leon was 1 sided
no one ouln't beat holyfield at cruiserweight
I think you mean Holyfield vs Qawi 1 and that was brutal slugfest from start to finish each round had over 100 punches thrown and was very competitive.Originally Posted by headson

I don't think the weight was the ultimate reason he moved up. I believe that was Goosen's plan for him all along. I think initially the plan was to call out a post-Ruiz Jones after the Jirov fight, but Jones decided to move back to 175. But the big money fights for Toney were at heavyweight.Originally Posted by SweetPea
