Vick deserves his day in court, and personally I disagree with suspending him or any action by his team/NFL until his innocence or guilt is proven in a court of law, but it really pisses me off that the article attempts to tie Vick's indictment to the atrocities of Jim Crow laws and the South...I'm I alone in this?

I think Vick is being railroaded. For some reason they seem to be making an example of him. Vick is a great talent and very exciting to watch. He should be allowed to play. He hasn't been convicted of anything. Not only that he's only being charged with staging dog fights. They making it seem like he killed somebody. Total bullshit. I bet you all the people talking shit haven't even been to a real dog fight. There very intense, exciting events.

very exciting events where an animal basically gets killed for entertainment. I am not a vegitarian I do eat meat, but that's for sustinence, killing an animal for entertainment is just cruel and I think anyone who supports this kind of shit needs to be put in a cage and fight to the death! Just fuckin sickening! Also don't give me no shit about hard upbringing and how its different in the inner city, shit my childhood wasn't all sugar and roses but we didn't put no dam dogs in a cage to fight each other. As for vick jeah he should get his day in court, he may be innocent for all we know, playing the race card is a shit move though. Just like in the duke lacrosse case the boys were convicted by the public before anything had even been proven, yet the media may be making the same mistake again.

I think it was good to suspend him. He has to focus on this case if he doesn't then he's going to get screwed....and if he were playing PETA would have a fucking fit.
