That's the worst of all...for the big fight card in Cardiff which was due to be Calzaghe v Johnson I went with a big group of mates, and it was due to be a bit of a drinking session and watch some fighting from the cheap seats. As it happens, for boxing the stewards got arsey and wouldn't let us take beer to the seats (despite the fact that if I'm watching the rugby...taking four beers to the seats are fine.) and because we couldn't get to the seats, most of my mates spent most of the time in the aisle outside looking through to try and see what was going on.

And then they get in and ask what's going on. If they'd have sat there they'd know. I don't mind if a stranger asks me, but there's one guy who bugs the hell out of me, and when he asked it just pissed me off so much.

I go to the boxing mainly to watch the boxing, and if you go with someone who mainly wants the drinking, it's going to end up in trouble.
I've had it worse than that mate...only with football and not boxing. One of my friends is gay which I'm ok with. But one time, I'm sat watching United and Carrick scored. I was doing my usual "F****** get in" when my friend turns to me and tells me that Carrick has fantastic nipples. Completely F****** ruined it for me.
Well....just make sure you don't bring him to the Calzaghe v Kessler fight....a comment on how lovely Joe's eyes are as he KOs Kessler would be bang out of order.
