What the hell is wrong with a little holding?? Hell I don't even care if they hold quite a bit as long as they punch every so often.......

Holding cannot be attributed to any one boxing nation more than another. And in the case of lacy, of course the man was holding but he was holding courageously, tryin not to get KO'd and stay in the fight, nothin wrong with that.

Nope you're wrong, Peter Plys 44 has done it again he's figured it all out.

The only fighters that hold are Americans. In fact America as a nation IS SATAN,

Seriously, this is getting old Peter, you sir are racist..................

Im british and the topic of the post is clearly BS.....Theres a difference between holding and hitting....and Holding until the ref breaks the clinch....If you can hold hit and break And hit without the ref stepping in..no probs its good tactics if ur just a fanny and your gonna hold until the refs steps in ...

    cc to you

Well said, even if you did use the word "fanny" LOL . Your reply does say it all though. I thought fighters were trained to hold at times. If a guy is good on the outside and his opponet is better on the inside then the outside fighter should "tie him up" or whatever you want to call it so he cant get anything done.

Lacy was doing a doggy on Calzaghe and Ratman was holding Oleg's foot as it was the gold of Afirca - but no warning no nothing.....

Peter Plys 44 - where are you from? (the guys think you have been here before under the name 'Royal')

I did indeed hate Royal with a pure passion and genuinely wished him a long lfe, but lingering death to all his loved ones so he could watch and feel all the pain.

    Are you indeed he?

I am not sure what you are looking for and if it is right, but I was complaining that Lacy way allowed to hold very much in round 9-12 against Calzaghe and especially that Rahmann was allowed to hold in round 10-12, WHEN NADY had said to OLEG over and over and over and over again that he did NOT want any holding - BUT when the RAT - Then RATMAN was in problems it was okay to hold on for life efen a ones foot...

Rahman holds and all of a sudden ALL American fighters hold....and Jay Nady is USUALLY very good about not allowing holding
