Although Toney's career is basically over, I don't see what your trying to complain about in this post.. I can agree to the sentiment that using steroids is unfair to other fighters who play by the rules.... But your suggesting that he is disrespectful to his opponents who train their ass off by not doing so himself, instead using his natural ability, even if he wins or puts up a good fightOriginally Posted by ACEA
That makes you sound fairly dim imo... If a guy works his ass off in the gym, and still loses to a guy who hardly trained at all, all that's saying is that he came up against a much more talented and schooled fighter.. That's got nothing to do with disrespect.. If Toney signed to fight Klitschko, or somehow got a 3rd fight with Peter(or any big fight) and came to fight having obviously done no training, I could see how it would be disrespectful... But if he wins against a guy who he is simply better than, it's stupid to call that disrespectful because he carries too much weight.. Not to mention the fact that Toney clearly worked long long hours in the gym for years perfecting his skills, so it's hardly all natural ability that allows him to box as he can.. it's his choice what condition he wants to be in now, it's not as if he has needed to pick up new tricks like many fighters..
