Sure Margarito walks through the punches, but it's not enough because he ahs to land enough to beat Mayweather and I'm not sure he could do that And watching that I see Mayweather countering the holy hell out of him and moving out of the way before the response comes
I agree that is a possibilty BUT I have faith in Tony and even if he has to swing to get Floyd,he will get there. The one thing he has in favour over Castillo who beat Floyd the first time is the leather he throws,Castillo gave Floyd hell because he just kept plugging forward and throwing leather,that's what I can see Tony doing (hopefully)!
CC to the both of you, but my point is this. You can't walk through a counter and still expect a much faster, slicker fighter to stand around waiting for you to drop 6 bombs on him. A technician doesnt have to kill you, in order to beat you. All he has to do is use his jab, speed and counters up the middle to keep you off balance and not let you plant your feet. Trust me, if theres anything I learned in a "20 second highlight film".. its that Margarito needs to plant his feet to be useful.

People seems to forget one thing about Castillo that made a big difference between how he did against mayweather and how corrales did against mayweather. Castillo can box and isnt just a single minded offensive machine. Hes aggressive, but he sets up his shots, uses his legs to cut off the ring, picks his spots and tries to land the better punches and counters if he needs to. Thats why he could effectively apply pressure to mayweather the first time. If a huge put out, aggressiveness and swinging with hell in both fists is all you needed to beat mayweather he wouldnt be where he is. If youre getting countered right up the middle all night against a faster fighter, all a good chin will do is prolong the beating. Getting countered all night and coming up empty on huge counters that cant land of a fighter who isnt there will drain a fighter of his energy, his will and his title. Margarito should wear some comfortable shoes, because he's gonna be walking, running and chasing for 12 rounds. A catchers mask wouldnt hurt either.
