He stands "head and shoulders above the rest" due to the fact he has not (in my and others opinion) gone into the ring with anyone that stands above him to start with. Boxers who are allowed to put their hat in the ring for the p4p title are the ones who take the FIGHTS that could end their reign as champions even if no title is at stake.

The reason he's always the favourite is because he is the p4p kingpin and for good reason. Hey, anytime a natural featherweight is considered a favourite against the top dog in the 154 pound weight class it is amazing. You're basically saying that Floyd is TOO good..ironic

Also in some peoples opinions Floyd was way out of his depth in a few fights :-
