Actually thinking about it what with the smoking bans coming into force around the world now as soon as Floyd lit one up he would be disqualified anyway so Ricky wins by default.

I have to go with the British guys on this one. I think Hatton will pull an upset. I think Floyd is just past his peak and frankly I am not sure how much he really cares for boxing any more with his threats of quitting. I think he will under-estimate Hatton's strength and get roughed up until the referee jumps in and stops it.

Yep, I am an American who doesn't believe all American fighters are the best. I'll give props to British fighters too.Originally Posted by hitmandonny

Agreed, i feel Ricky wins this, i really do. Floyd never throws more than one punch at a time anymore, perhaps as a resultant of the increase in weight, the problem with the hands or perhaps he just hasnt been extended enough lately. But i feel when he does punch, unless he flurries, no matter how quick his hands return to the defensive position or how quick he moves Hatton will land. Hatton doesnt have to land in big numbers as iv already mentioned floyd only throws one at a time, so if hatton can aggresively counterpunch landing 2 to 1, its rickys fight.

Yea cause there is substantial evidence to show Mayweather is past his peakOriginally Posted by LuciferTheGreat
He is only fighting a guy who made a CAREER out of routinely balooning up over 50 lbs his fighting weight with a diet of Guiness and all you can eat Buffets
But you question a guy who trains like a demon even when he dosent have a fight scheduled and keeps in peak condition....
Hatton is a nice guy, but actions speak louder than words mate, and based on the ACTIONS of each fighter and HISTORY OF COMMITMENT I think Floyd dosent even have to entertain a question about his level of commitment
Array
Well JT i agree to an extent, and i would also add that Floyd trains in a sensible manner, not sufffering from wear and tear as a result of training the way some fighters do....But his hands are a big problem.

Tell you what was intersting to me, Floyd fought Oscar wearing Reyes gloves with the majority of the padding in the wrist, and made no complaints about his hands. Where as he usually wears the winnings gloves that have all the padding in the fist, and even then he would complain most fights... Who the Hell really knows when he is embelishing his hand troubles or notOriginally Posted by hitmandonny
Although if I just made over $15,000,000 I wouldn't be bitchin about a dodgy hand
